New and Old Faces at Training Camp

Several players — new and old — have entered the 2013 NPSL fray as training camp invites join early season availability concerns at The Park School in Amherst.

A trio of players with Syracuse ties and another three with University at Buffalo ties accompany FC Buffalo’s all-time leader in games played and the club’s only hat trick recorder as “new” additions to the squad. Buffalo.com’s Ben Tsujimoto went all-out with a recapping of the new boys, so here’s a basic rundown:

Andrew Coughlin is a dynamic goalkeeper from Syracuse University.

Casey Dercasz is a Hamburg product who played at UB and Penn State during his college time.

Brian Knapp is another UB grad who has plied his trade on the professional futsal circuit in Asia

Adam Lauko is a former ESPN All-NYS defender from Syracuse who just finished a strong freshman season at the University of Wisconsin.

Ben Ramin is a tall forward, also from Syracuse, who plays for the Orange,

Andy Tiedt and Richie Wilson, well… if you know FC Buffalo history you know these guys pretty well.

The home opener is Friday, May 10. Stock up on gear and season tickets now.
