Head to the team store and get some blue and gold gear
Score: FCB 1-0 (2-1) Greater Binghamton FC Thunder
Next match: HOME – Friday, 7 p.m. vs. Lansing United
Brett Larocque’s 39th minute goal was enough to lift FC Buffalo to a win in the Upstate NY Derby against Greater Binghamton FC on Sunday at Robert E. Rich Sr. All-High Stadium.
The two sides were level at 1 after the road leg in Binghamton late last month, when Larocque also scored for the Wolves.
FCB came out strong thanks to Rich Products’ Man of the Match midfielder Rob Brandell, who controlled the middle of the pitch.
The Wolves held a 5-2 edge in shots after 45 minutes, but the one that mattered was Larocque’s depositing of a cheeky Connor Willings past GBFC ‘keeper Nate Ripic, who was outstanding with 11 saves on the afternoon.
Next is Friday’s huge conference battle with playoff rivals Lansing United. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. from All-High and you’re all needed in a big way.
