The roster is all-but-set with the road opener in just over a week and the home opener on Sunday, May 18 against AFC Cleveland at Canisius College.

Head coach Brendan Murphy confirmed that Kyle Rogers, Martin Fiemawhle and Christian Wyatt have joined the club for the summer.

Fiemawhile (Houston, Texas // Duquesne University) comes from the Houston Dynamo Academy and three years in Pittsburgh, where he’s scored twice. The forward of Ghanaian lineage plays for former Niagara head coach Chase Brooks, where he was the second-leading scorer for the Dukes this Spring.

“Martin is coming off of a great spring season with Duquesne and a very high recommendation from Chase Brooks,” Murphy said. “He has great size and speed and should be a dangerous option for us up top.”

Wyatt is the fourth Point Loma player to join the Wolves. The youngster plays in college with Nico Tagaloa, Tyler Allen and Val Doppenberg.

“Christian is a very technical player who will provide depth in the midfield and bring a great attitude to the training pitch,” Murphy said.

Rogers (Baldwinsville, N.Y. // University at Buffalo) is a University at Buffalo products who can play defense or midfield, and trained with the club in 2013 as well.

“Kyle is a reliable player and quality character individual,” Murphy said. “We’re glad to have him back with us this season.”

We can also report that NC Wesleyan defender Joe Storer was injured and will miss this summer before even getting to Buffalo. We wish him all the best in his recovery.
