Tiedt signs pro deal with indoor team

FC Buffalo’s third all-time leading scorer will spend his winter in the high-paced action of professional indoor soccer as he joins former FC Buffalo teammate Gary Boughton (Medaille) and ex-FCB head coach Jim Hesch in Rochester to play with the Lancers.

Tiedt (University at Buffalo ’11) has scored seven goals and five assists in his three years with the Blitzers and has been a fixture at forward since the team started play in 2010. The Lancers open up play on Nov. 3 in Syracuse against the Silver Knights, who boast former FCB captain and UB Bulls star Daniel Stevens who is in offseason from his professional club in Finland.

Blitzers winger John Grabowski is also training with the Lancers.
