FC Buffalo head coach Brendan Murphy has signed Canisius College midfielder Will Hudson ahead of this weekend’s two road games in three nights.
Hudson is a 6’1″ Londoner set to begin his senior year for the Griffs, where he’s starred in the midfield for three seasons. He’s played in 53 matches for Canisius, scoring 6 goals and adding 5 assists. Five of those goals and three of the helpers came in his junior year.
“Will is a tremendous two-way player who comes from a rising Canisius program,” said FC Buffalo general manager Nick Mendola. “We’re extremely pleased that Griffs boss Dermot McGrane has continued his support of our club.”
The Blitzers (6-0-1) play Friday night at Hurley Field in Berkeley, Michigan, against FC Sparta Michigan (2-2-5) before a showdown with undefeated Detroit City FC at 1 p.m. on Sunday in the Motor City.
