Vote Kenny! McFayden finalist for big honor

VISIT: FC Buffalo’s online store

Here’s a pleasant but earned surprise for your Thursday in quarantine.

Longtime FC Buffalo leader Kendell McFayden has been elected as one of 30 finalists for the National Premier Soccer League’s All-time Top Ten Players.

VOTE FOR KENNY HERE

McFayden, who earned All-NPSL accolades as both a center back and a striker following a career with the USL’s Rochester Rhinos, scored 18 goals with three assists in 45 appearances for FCBFLO.

He’s the club’s all-time leader in goals (and red cards), also sitting second in appearances to Chris Walter.

Kenny also captained the club, and was one of the first to raise his hand when we needed help with a community or youth endeavor. Speaking of hands, he once returned from a broken hand that cost him most of a season to score a diving header on Fan Appreciation Night.

Let’s get Kendell an honor in the Top Ten, as he battles with big names like USMNT striker Chris Wondolowski and MLS veterans Brandon Bye and Patrick Mullins.
