[ ON SALE: 2016 season ticket packages ]

We’re less than two months away from the opening kick of FC Buffalo’s 2016 National Premier Soccer League season, which means you need to know a bit more about your 2016 Wolves.

We’ve still got plenty of player commitments to announce in the coming days and weeks, but we’ve posed some question to our first batch of commits in order to get to know them a bit better.

Last week we learned a bit about Bayley Winkel and Andres Vega, as well as Keith Traut and Ian McGrath. On Monday, it was Kieran Toland and Andrew Crawford.

Today we re-introduce ourselves to a pair of Buffalo-born players from last year’s roster.

Favorite club player: Nemanja Vidic was my idol, now that he is retired it is David Alaba.

Clubs prior to college: Niagara Pioneer (my hometown club), Northtowns, NYPS, Empire Buffalo

Favorite food from home: chicken wings, obviously

Best soccer memory: Going over to Scotland with my good friend for a trial with St. Mirren F.C. when I was 15.

What am I looking forward to about this summer in Buffalo? It is another chance for me to represent my local team and show what this area is all about. There is a large soccer community in this area and I hope not only to bring attention to the quality soccer here, but also to show people from around Buffalo that they can follow their dreams and pursue soccer past high school, club and college.
