Going, going, back, back, to Batavia, Batavia

FC Buffalo is thrilled to go back to a traditional location for our preseason, as we stage a friendly match with old friends Genesee Community College and a party at longtime partners Batavia Downs Gaming.

Save the date: Saturday, April 30. That’s when new FCB head coach Ryan “Ozzy” Osborne will get his first look at his team for a free 4pm kickoff against junior college powerhouse GCC on the turf field at One College Road in Batavia, New York.

Coach Ken Gavin’s Cougars program has annually competed for NJCAA glory and won its first national championship in 2017. GCC has also produced players for FCB, most recently fullback Charlie Livesey.

Following the game, we’ll be heading down the road to Batavia Downs Gaming at 8315 Park Road in Batavia, New York, to renew acquaintances with one of our oldest backers.

BDG and Western Regional OTB are offering $15 in Freeplay on the casino floor and a buffet dinner — including chicken parmesan, penne pasta, veggie medley, Italian bread, garden salad – with the team for $25.
