Ian McGrath smashed home his third goal of the year in the 86th minute as FC Buffalo gutted out a 3-3 result with Indy Eleven NPSL on a scorching day at Grand Park’s Championship Field in Westfield, Indiana.
Bayley Winkel opened the scoring when he tapped home Romario Guscott’s cross in the seventh minute, but Indy equalized in the eighth.
Guscott ran onto a looped pass from Braden Scales in first half stoppage time to give FCB a 2-1 lead at the break, but Indy scored two second half goals to take a second half lead.
Jim Orvis then sent a cross to the penalty spot that Sam Byles collected a laid off for McGrath to smash home.
More to come when we’re back in Buffalo.
