College regular seasons are either done or nearly done for our men’s and women’s players still in school, so here’s a look at who’s still driving toward silverware from our summer crew of blue and gold.
But before that, pick up your 2025 season tickets for all men’s and women’s regular season games for the same low price.
FC Buffalo men at school: November 2024
Coach!
FCB head coach Sean Hallas’ first year running a D’Youville University program that had struggled in recent years has been a fantastic success. Congrats to Sean and his Saints ahead of a home playoff game!
Aitor Jorde — Aitor’s Slippery Rock side is headed for the PSAC Tournament after one more regular season game this week. The Basque forward has four goals and four assists in 14 games this season.
Andreas Kokoska — Andy’s NAIA season is in conference tournament play, with William Carey set to face Dalton State College on Nov. 7.
Aney Djadou and Diego Rivera — Buff State is ranked No. 1 in SUNYAC and No. 17 in the country, and both Diego and Aney are having fantastic seasons. Diego has 15 goals and seven assists in 18 appearances, while Aney’s scored four times with two assists in 15 appearances.
Ashton Jell — Duquesne are the 4 seed for the A10 Championship, and face Fordham on Saturday in the first round. “Jello” has started all 16 games for the Dukes, scoring twice with two assists out of the back.
Calum Newson (and Arthur Hill ’23) — Cal is against leading Kentucky Wesleyan in scoring with seven goals and an assist as they ready for the Great Midwest Tournament, while Arthur’s leaderships been invaluable to the Panthers.
Fabian Overkamp — Robert Morris University will be one of the top seeds in the Horizon League Tournament, and Fabi’s been phenomenal for the Colonials. His 1314 minutes played total lead all field players on the team, and he’s chipped in a goal.
Gaven Egan — A leap up for Gaven, who has three goals and an assist in 1213 minutes for the SUNY Binghamton Bearcats. They are currently in a playoff position for the America East Tournament.
Luke Reidell‘s made three appearances for Indiana in his sophomore season, as the Hoosiers are set for a Big Ten Tournament match against Michigan this week.
Mohammed Sanyang — Mo’s played in 14 matches for Lewis University ahead of their GLVC Tournament quarterfinal debut on Sunday.
Nico Stoddart — Our two-year man and his Northern Kentucky team could earn a Horizon League Tournament spot this week. Nico has two goals in 14 games.
Ollie Lovell — Oliver and his Ashland University side are set for the Great Midwest Tournament, where they could run into Calum, Arthur, and Kentucky Wesleyan. Ollie has four goals and two assists in 12 games, all starts.
Rashaad Ogun — Our two-year winger is buzzing, and Cal State Bakersfield begins the Big West Tournament on Wednesday afternoon. Rash has two goals and two assists this season.
Sam LaMendola‘s Cortland side is #18 in the country, and he could well match up against Buff State in the SUNYAC tournament. Sam has a goal and an assist in 13 games.
FC Buffalo women at school: September 2024
Sarah Woods — UB is flying, the No. 2 seed in the MAC Tournament. Woods is a big part of the show, starting all 18 games and piling up two goals and four assists. See one of those assists, above.
Erin Weir and Skylar Cornell are both delivering big for Canisius University. who are onto the MAAC Tournament semifinals. Sky has two goals and five assists in 18 starts, while Weir has two goals and eight assists.
U.S. youth national team duty meant we only saw one game of Linda Ullmark in blue and gold — a hat trick, no less — and her North Carolina tenure is delivering more on that promise. Linda’s UNC is 15-4 and face Duke in a huge ACC Tournament match on Nov. 7. Linda has started all 19 of her UNC appearances as a freshman, scoring twice with five assists.
Brigid Mulholland — Brigid’s been fantastic for Loyola, who have already won one game at the Patriot League Championships and are two wins from the NCAA Tournament. Our UWS First Team goalkeeper has allowed just 16 goals in 18 games with seven clean sheets.
Eileen Solomon — Boston U begins Patriot League Tournament play this week, and Eileen has started all six of her matches this season for the Terriers.
Kylie Miranto is again filling the net for Daemen ahead of their East Conference Conference Championships semifinal on Sunday. Kylie has 11 goals and five assists in 16 starts.
Sydney Mulka again has a sub-1.00 goals against average at Penn State Harrisburg, who are into the United East Tournament semifinal on the heels of Sydney’s clean sheet in the quarterfinal.
Mirann Gacioch — No one’s played more minutes for Ohio State than Mirann, with over 1700 minutes and counting heading into Monday’s Big Ten Tournament match against #4 USC.
