Mysteriously left off of our first group of signings for 2012 was a name all Blitzer fans are quite familiar with and that absence was purely happenstance: Andy Tiedt.
Tiedt, who scored the first goal in club history, sits second to Mike Unwin in most points all-time for FC Buffalo and spent his Fall tearing up the UB Stadium turf for the Bulls. Tiedt notched five goals and added four assists for the upstart Bulls.
In offseason work, Tiedt has linked up well with new FCB signing Samuel Guibert. He enters the season four goals shy of No. 1 in the Blitzer annals.
