FC Buffalo goalkeeper Bryce Tramuta turned in a Man of the Match performance in backstopping the club’s third-straight shutout win, this one a 3-0 triumph over Pittsburgh Hotspurs at Robert Rich Sr. All-High Stadium on Sunday.

The Pittsburgh-born, Canisius College-bred goalkeeper made a number of fine saves in a frantic first half which saw FCB open up a 2-0 lead.

The Wolves struck first through Kieran Toland’s fourth goal of the young season, the Scot dancing past the keeper off a Nevado Elliott takeaway.

The lead was doubled by halftime when Carl Kennedy spied Elliott and broke the lines with a bomb over the top of the defense. Elliott touched past the keeper and slotted for 2-0.

The game stayed that way deep into the second half, when Austin Stout forced a bad giveaway deep in Pittsburgh territory and banged a shot off a body and into the goal.

FCB is off until Sunday, June 23, when the Wolves will visit the same Pittsburgh Hotspurs. Our next home match kicks off at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 29 against first place Cleveland SC.
