Soccer, Party in Batavia!

FC Buffalo’s season will open a week earlier than previously announced with a match and preseason party in Batavia, N.Y., in conjunction with Batavia Soccer Club.

A team of locally-based FCB roster members, some new faces, and a handful of trialists will don the Blitzers’ unis for a friendly against coach Ken Gavin’s 2018 NJCAA national champion Genesee Community College Cougars. Batavia SC youth players will hit the field at halftime.

And if we’re in Batavia, you know we’re having a party at Batavia Downs, who has gone out of its way to put together a pretty amazing party package for us.

FCB and Batavia Soccer Club fans age 18 and over can take part in a 34 Rush buffet including pizza, wings, fries, and soda PLUS $15 in free play on the gaming floor from 5-7 p.m.

GCC has produced several FCB players including 2018 left back Charlie Livesey. We’re thrilled to get a chance to work the kinks out against a very good side.
