“It is with a grateful nod to goals accomplished and a hopeful eye to what lies ahead that FC Buffalo announces the end of a one-year partnership with head coach Jim Hesch.
Coach Hesch directed a remarkably successful debut campaign for our club, with six wins and two draws in 12 games. The record was good enough for third place in the Northeast’s Keystone Conference and the goal differential of plus-9 was ninth-best in the 31-team National Premier Soccer League.
However with Coach Hesch’s remarkable dedication to his job as director of operations for local youth club Black Watch Premier NY West and our continued — even bolstered — vision of growing our side, the club will have a new boss for its second season.
We remain committed to our belief in Western New York as a burgeoning stronghold in American soccer. That includes Black Watch. Our promise to our fan base is locating and signing the most capable coach to lead FC Buffalo to an NPSL title and beyond. Expect an announcement in short order.
For our city,
The FC Buffalo board
Thanks For the Great Start, Coach. Good Luck to you down the road, may it swing back this way someday, even just to say Hi!
Thanks coach, you’re a legend!
