FC Buffalo looks to complete a winning end to the 2021 summer when it hosts Cleveland SC in the National Independent Soccer Association’s Independent Cup on Wednesday at Robert Rich Sr. All-High Stadium.

The Wolves beat Midwest Premier League side Livonia City 3-0 on Saturday through goals from Jayson Repine, Rob Williamson, and Derek Bartlo, evening their Independent Cup record at 1-1 following a tourney-opening 3-1 loss to professional side Detroit City in Michigan earlier this month.

Old rivals Cleveland SC have been humming along this season, undefeated in league play and currently in the National Premier Soccer League national semifinals.

CSC beat FCB home and away this year, but the Wolves hung tough in both matches against the Midwest Region champions.

The Detroit match is FCB’s only loss in five July matches.

The Wolves will be without a few standout players in the Wednesday meeting but are excited to host one more match at All-High Stadium for Fan Appreciation Day.
