Leading scorers Kieran Toland and Nevado Elliott were voted onto the National Premier Soccer League’s Midwest Region Eastern Conference Best XI, the league announced Friday.

The players are now eligible for All-Region honors. All league honors are a combination of team, media, and fan voting.

Toland (St. Bonaventure University / Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland) scored five times with an assist in eight matches for the Blitzers; The goals give him eight in 18 appearances for his career with FCB, tied for fifth in club history.

Target forward Elliott (Alderson Broaddus University / Bellevue, Jamaica) has registered a team-high four assists to go with two goals through eight games after missing the team’s trip to Germany and league opener in Rochester. He is a rising junior at ABU next season.

Only conference-winning Cleveland SC placed more players on the team than FCB, who finishes its season Saturday against the leaders in Ohio at 4 p.m.
