Blitzers tie record with big win over Buxmont

On Sunday, FC Buffalo will finish its second season in the National Premier Soccer League. On Saturday night, it finished a bunch of other things… scoring chances.

FC Buffalo’s penultimate home match was a lopsided affair, as several Blitzers collected multiple points in a 7-0 win over the Buxmont Torch at Robert E. Rich All-High Stadium.

Witkowski

Andrew Tiedt (UB) bookended two goals with two assists, while Krystian Witkowski (Marist) put up the same figures. Chris Walter (Nichols) had a goal an assist, while Matt Schuber (Colgate) and Joe Cillis also scored. Mike Unwin had a helper on what proved to be Schuber’s game winner.

FC Buffalo closes out its season Sunday at Noon versus New Jersey Blaze and then hosts a World Cup Final viewing at Gecko’s at 3 p.m. All are welcome.
