Wilson signs on for season No. 2

The author of FC Buffalo’s only hat trick is going to try his luck for another campaign.

Rich Wilson is staying home for the summer season, signing on with new coach Dan Krzyzanowicz for another Blitzers’ season.

Wilson netted six times for FC Buffalo last season. After transferring from the University of Cincinnati, he scored six goals and two assists in three seasons at the University at Buffalo, playing for Coach John Astudillo.

Wilson hails from Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

FC Buffalo opens its 2011 National Premier Soccer League campaign at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 22 at Robert E. Rich All-High Stadium. Admission is  just five dollars and are available at the door. The Kenmore Panthers youth team will be playing at halftime, and Where’s Lloyd? is bringing his famous taco truck for bonus concessions.
