Four to represent FCB at NPSL Combine Tournament

FC Buffalo will have a league-high four players representing the Midwest Region at the NPSL Combine Tournament in Fort Lauderdale next month.

The combine runs concurrently with the MLS Combine, and will be attended by a great deal of scouts from the top professional leagues in America.

“We’re proud to see another batch of FC Buffalo veterans getting looks at a high-visibility tournament,” said FC Buffalo general manager Nick Mendola. “And we’re excited to join Lansing United, Fort Pitt Regiment and the Brooklyn Italians as the most represented team. We wish good fortune to these high-character players.”

FCB all-time appearance leader Chris Walter will be heading to Florida, along with longtime players Jeff Thomas and Bobby Ross. Additionally, goalkeeper Waleed Cassis was chosen to play between the sticks for the Midwest team.
