Three more players cleared

TICKETS: FCB v. FC St. Pauli in Buffalo!!

FC Buffalo formally added several players to its roster on Thursday following international and domestic clearance.

Returning midfielder Cameron Emerson (Anderson University / New Zealand), joins new FCB members Nevado Elliott (Alderson Broaddus University / Jamaica) and Taner Bay (Rider University / Rochester, N.Y.) on the 2019 team.

Emerson scored two goals in 10 matches with FCB in 2017, including the wonderful strike against AFC Cleveland embedded at the bottom of this post. He scored 10 goals and nine assists in three seasons at Anderson.

Elliott, who comes from the same Jamaican school system as two-year FCB star Akean Shackleford, scored six times with three assists in his first college season.

And Bay is a local product from Empire United’s Development Academy. Under Rider coach Charlie Inverso, Bay started 14 of 20 matches in the center of the park and finished second on the Broncs with three assists.
