Here is the FC Buffalo ownership group’s statement on the hiring of Brendan Murphy as head coach at D’Youville College.
“We’re incredibly proud and pleased that D’Youville and athletic director Brian Cavanaugh see the same things in Coach Murphy that we do and we know he’s going to do incredible things for the Spartan program, FC Buffalo and Buffalo soccer in general.”
“We support him in every turn and look forward with great pleasure to him leading us this summer and D’Youville year-round. He’s a great coach, soccer mind and family man who is earning the chances and accolades befitting of someone who conducts himself in an honorable and admirable manner.”
