The home crowd at Robert E. Rich All-High Stadium had been waiting a long time for this.
FC Buffalo’s offense met its defensive strength with a three-goal night, as the Wolves moved into second place in the Great Lakes East with a 3-0 win over first place AFC Cleveland on Friday.
Kieran Toland (St. Bonaventure) opened the scoring for FCB in the 22nd minute off a feed from Romario Guscott (LIU Brooklyn), and the home side carried that lead into halftime.

Substitute Kendell McFayden (Rochester Rhinos) collected a pass from Philip Persson (University of Albany) to be a deep AFC Cleveland goalkeeper and make it 2-0 in the second half.
Then Regan Steele (Canisius College) took a touch from Persson, who was named Rich Products Man of the Match, and buried his chance to make it 3-0.
Nick Jeffs (University of Louisville) made five saves to pick up his third clean sheet and win of the season.
