[ VISIT THE NEW FC BUFFALO STORE ]
FC Buffalo has the chance to secure its first Rust Belt Derby trophy during a home-and-home series with Detroit City FC this weekend.
The first match is Friday night in Detroit, a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff with no web stream at renovated Keyworth Stadium. DCFC has come close to 7,000 fans at each of their home matches this season, and FCB is happy to visit Le Rouge’s new home.
The business end is Sunday at 2 p.m. ET at Robert E. Rich All-High Stadium, as FCB hosts Detroit in the hopes of lifting hardware at home.
Started by supporters’ groups in 2012, FC Buffalo has finished second to Detroit but ahead of AFC Cleveland in the last three iterations of the Rust Belt Derby. Cleveland did not schedule Detroit this season with the clubs separated into divisions.
