FC Buffalo will begin and end its second regular season in the National Premier Soccer League with the full throat of “The Situation Room” behind it.
The NPSL has released its schedule for 2011 and the Blitzers will play six home matches beginning Sunday, May 22 versus FC Reading Revolution.
The season’s second and third home dates are back-to-back dates with the Pocono Snow and Erie Admirals, the latter of which was the only team FC Buffalo did not top during its inaugural campaign.
Sunday, June 12 finds reigning conference champions FC Sonic visiting the grounds of Robert E. Rich Stadium. The Blitzers were the only squad to top Sonic in conference play this season.
The Blitzers will finish off their season with back-to-back home matches July 16 and 17, including their first ever tilt with the expansion Buxmont Torch.
Anyone interested in making a road trip should contact the club for travel packages. Season tickets are available in FC Buffalo’s online shop.
