FCB’s next home match comes Tuesday, July 10 against North Mississauga SC. Admission is $8 at the door, $7 presale.

Handing debuts to two players while wearing forest green, FC Buffalo looked anything but unprepared for their regular season finale on Sunday.

FCB got braces from Kendell McFayden and Hunter Walsh and a pair of assists from Chris Walter in bouncing back from a crushing derby loss with a 5-1 win over Greater Binghamton FC Thunder at Visions Field on Saturday.

Brett Stern was finally rewarded for his industrious season when he collected a McFayden through ball to become FCB’s 12th goal scorer of the season in his 12th career game for the club.

Walter’s two assists break his tie with Andy Tiedt for the most in club history, with nine. McFayden expands his club record for goals to 18, and sees himself tied for the season lead with six (Akean Shackleford).

Goalkeeper Bryce Tramuta (Jeanette, Penn. / Canisius College) earned the win in his FCB debut, while Colin O’Keefe (Buffalo, N.Y. / Buffalo State College) came off the bench to make his debut at right back.

Lewis White earned an assist on McFayden’s second goal to finish the season tied for the team lead in helpers with three (Sammy Wasson, Bayley Winkel). Wasson, Wilson, and Robert Williamson are the only FCB players to appear in all 12 NPSL season contests.
