FC Buffalo’s supporters were in midseason form, but the men in blue couldn’t get the attack going in a 2-0 loss to Fort Pitt Regiment at Robert Rich Sr. All-High Stadium on Friday.

The Regiment scored a pair of second half goals through Lucas Godinho and Marc Alexander to get all three points from Buffalo.

BOX SCORE

Absent injured captain Chris Walter and suspended striker Kendell McFayden, FCB handed the arm band to relentless third-year man Bayley Winkel.

An all-new FCB back line of Lewis White, Euan Bauld, Robert Williamson, and Chris Camilli proved difficult to break down.

Isaiah Wilson (St. Bonaventure) and Akean Shackleford (SMU) subbed into the game to provide a late offensive charge, but no goal came for the Blitzers.

FCB’s next home match comes Sunday, May 27 against Syracuse FC. Admission is $8 at the door, $7 presale, or discounted deeper as part of our season ticket packages.
