Courage of Carly fundraiser game on Derby Day

FCB’s next home match comes Friday, June 29 against Erie Commodores SC. Admission is $8 at the door, $7 presale.

The week of our Courage of Carly Fund community initiative is here, and the on-field stakes for this season’s home Erie County Derby match couldn’t be much higher.

Second place Erie enters the match three points ahead of FCB in the race for the East Division’s second playoff spot. Kickoff between FCB and Erie takes place at 7 p.m.

Jay Manno, the owner of downtown restaurants Frankie Primo’s +39 and Soho Buffalo, has donated the front  of our away jersey to give season-long exposure for the Courage of Carly Fund, and FCB is donating half of every online ticket sale back to the Courage of Carly Fund (Use code: CARLY2018 at checkout).

Local soccer organization Clarence Soccer Club is having their team night at Friday’s game in a bid to bring in money for the Courage of Carly Fund — formerly known as Carly’s Club — at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

About the Courage of Carly Fund:

The Courage of Carly Fund gives children with cancer and blood disorders at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center the fighting chance they all deserve. Providing everything from unforgettable memories and family events to financial support, the Courage of Carly Fund offers hope and a little bit of extra happiness to children, teens and their families.

The work of the Courage of Carly Fund would not be possible without the tireless support of its many generous partners, donors and friends. With ongoing help from the community, we will continue to fuel pediatric cancer research programs while providing Roswell Park’s doctors, nurses, psychologists and social workers with every resource needed to help children experience the everyday joys of childhood.
