FC Buffalo improved to 2-1 on the young USL League Two season with a 1-0 win over Cleveland Force at Krenzler Field in windy Ohio on Tuesday.

Ignacio Velasquez Jansen scored a fantastic goal in the 68th minute to break the deadlock, taking a feed from Carlos Vial Aedo and curling a shot inside the far post from outside the 18.

Dante Gesamondo made several saves in keeping a clean sheet on debut for FCB, making it three clean sheets in four matches across all competitions this season.

In fact, the only two goals conceded by the Wolves this season have come when down to 10 men late in the second half at Steel City last week.

The Wolves have another away day on Saturday in Toledo against Toledo Villa FC before returning home to face the same foes at 7:30pm June 7 at Coyer Field.
