FC Buffalo’s unbeaten run stands at four matches following a 2-0 win over Syracuse FC at Lazer Stadium in Syracuse on Saturday.

Kendell McFayden took a feed from Bayley Winkel and outmuscled three Cuse defenders before belting a ball past the reach of the goalkeeper in the 58th minute.

He left the match for Hunter Walsh (Buffalo, N.Y. / Canisius College), who won a penalty kick that Keane McIvor converted to salt away the win.

Jeremy Figler made a number of saves to record FCB’s second clean sheet of the season, and Charlie Livesey (Sandbach, UK / Genesee Community College) made his FCB debut off the bench.

FCB’s next home match comes Friday, June 15 against Greater Binghamton. Admission is $8 at the door, $7 presale, or discounted deeper as part of our season ticket packages.
