FC Buffalo scored in the first and final minutes, adding a third goal to leap into third place in the NPSL’s Midwest Conference with a 3-0 win over Lansing United on Friday at Robert E. Rich Sr. All-High Stadium in Buffalo.

Ngwese Ebangwese, Brett Larocque and Chris Walter scored for the Wolves, who are now unbeaten in six matches. Anthony Rozzano and Connor Willings posted assists.

Ebangwese opened the scoring just 29 seconds into the game when he picked up a Rozzano pass and worked his way in-tight to beat Lansing keeper Wes Mink 1v1.

Lansing held the play in the first half, but FCB’s defense proved as stalwart as ever in front of starring goalkeeper Andrew Coughlin.

FCB put the match away with a late Larocque goal, as the diminutive forward powered a header home off Connor Willings’ good-looking corner kick.

Lansing’s Steven Owusu picked up a pair of yellow cards, dooming Lansing to 10 men, and Walter responded by dribbling through the United defense to beat Mink in the 90th minute.

Chris Walter picked up his fifth yellow card of the season and will sit out Sunday’s match in Pittsburgh.
