Update from the merchandise and ticket department

Next season’s greetings, fans.

It’s been a while since our 2014 NPSL season ended with a fun on-field autograph and picture session, but we assure you there’s been loads of work being done behind the scenes. In fact, it’s been our busiest offseason yet in terms of our attempts to take this team to the next level.

As the days move forward, we’ll have a lot of details on what we’ve been up to, and how you can help. In fact, there’s absolutely zero question from the partners we work with that you — yep, you — are the single-most important detail of bringing soccer to the next level. So please spread the word and help the passion grow. Influential people are noticing.

Now, to the nitty gritty:

1) New items and old favorites on sale for Thanksgiving weekend — In honor of this splendid holiday weekend, we’re rolling out a bunch of new goods on Friday morning in our store. This includes three brand new unisex tee-shirts, a women’s cut tee shirt and restocking of several popular items including our previously out-of-stock and popular hooded sweatshirts. All will be shipped before Christmas.

2) Exciting new high-end gear going (AD)PRO — One of your big requests we received was to expand our high-end items and make them more available.Screen Shot 2014-11-26 at 1.42.27 PMWe’ve teamed up with the awesome people in our neighborhood at ADPRO Sports to open up a line of Nike track jackets, polo shirts, team wear and jerseys. More details to come shortly, but we’re very excited about how our athletes, supporters and, well, staff will look in the new gear.

3) Season tickets — Demand this year is as high as ever, and we want to make a massive impression before our season even begins. We’ll be unveiling a season ticket scarf for 2015 for “Cyber Monday” — who says cyber anymore? — as well as three-tiered season ticket options for the most curious first-time fan right down to the diehard soccer supporters.

4) Venue — We get asked all the time where our matches will be played this season. At this point, all we can say is we’ve had very positive discussions and are positive that we’ll be providing the best game-day experience yet this summer. Again, the goal is to one day have our own home, and we can’t get to that point without you. So please, spread the word.

5) Players — Our front office, led by coach Brendan Murphy, is in the process of contacting our returning players and the prospects we scouted this Fall to field a team worthy of competing for a national championship. We’ll be holding an open tryout camp and an invite-only camp in the next couple months. Stay tuned.

For our city,

Nick, Scott, Ray, Joshua and Donny.
