The plaudits continue to roll in for FC Buffalo's inaugural season as the club placed not one but two players on the National Premier Soccer League's 2010 All-Star Game and MLS/international club combine.

Captain Daniel Stevens and stand-out goalkeeper Dan Panaro were chosen to represent the 6-2-4 Blitzers side at the July 28-August 1 Final Four Weekend.

Stevens lead the squad not only onto the pitch but on the stat sheet, with 13 points (1st), five goals (2nd) and three assists (1st).

His committed play at both ends of the pitch made him a fan favorite and earned him votes in nearly every team award category.

Panaro made his presence felt as quickly as any Blitzer, with numerous remarkable saves in the season opener against Erie. He notched four wins and four clean sheets on the season, as was known as a fiery leader from between the pipes.

The Combine -- which has commitments from teams in the Bundesliga, Major League Soccer and NASL amongst others -- takes place on July 29-30, with the All-Star Game following on the evening of the 30th.
