FC Buffalo jack-of-all-trades Brian Paredes has been chosen to represent the Midwest Conference in the 2018 NPSL Player Showcase this month.
Held in Orlando alongside the MLS Combine, the showcase runs from Jan. 13-15 and includes training sessions as well as a tournament.

Paredes, a senior captain and LIU Brooklyn, spent two seasons on the FCB roster, playing every position except goalkeeper and forward. He ended up with 11 appearances after an injury shortened his 2017 season.
Paredes participated in the NCAA Tournament at LIU, and was an NEC Tournament finalist in 2017.
Former FCB players to participate in the showcase are Daniel Stevens, Chris Walter, Andrew Ferguson, Matthew Ferguson, Bobby Ross, Jeff Thomas, and Waleed Cassis.
