The Rochester Rhinos are bringing their hardware to town, and a familiar face along with it.
FC Buffalo is pleased to welcome FCB alum, Canisius graduate, and USL Championship Game MVP Asani Samuels to our official partner pub, Mes Que, before the World Cup qualifier between the U.S. and Trinidad & Tobago on Nov. 17.
The Rochester Rhinos will also be bringing the spoils from their USL Championship season, including the USL Championship Trophy won with a pair of dramatic goals from match MVP Asani in a 2-1 win over L.A. Galaxy II.
The trophies will join the striker (pictured above, right) at Mes Que on Hertel Avenue for a Happy Hour celebration prior to the United States’ World Cup qualifying match at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Asani played for the Wolves in 2013, and spent 2011-14 with the Griffs under coach Dermot McGrane.
