FC Buffalo has long enjoyed a fine relationship with local Buffalo beverages, and now it has one to call its own.
We’ve teamed up with Big Ditch Brewing Company, on 55 East Huron Street in Downtown Buffalo, to launch “FC Buffalo’s Beer”, a brew designed with summer and soccer in mind, and reflected in the taste of the official beer of FC Buffalo.
“We’ve been watching our friends Matt and Corey grow Big Ditch from an idea into reality, and for them to launch this tasty beer in our honor is surreal,” said FC Buffalo co-owner Nick Mendola. “It’s been incredible to watch the rebirth of Buffalo breweries, from our friends at CBW to this tremendous development at Big Ditch Brewing Company.”
FC Buffalo’s Beer was designed to be “fantastically crushable”, great for mowing the lawn, sitting on the back deck or a pre- or post-game at Mes Que. Speaking of our official pub, Mes Que will join Big Ditch headquarters as the places to get a glass of FC once the beer rolls 
out later this month. It was also be available at an exclusive FCB event at Big Ditch, which we’ll announce soon. Keep June 28 open on your schedules!
“Partnering with FC Buffalo was completely consistent with our mission, as the beer we brew is truly ‘for our city'”, said Matt Kahn, co-owner of Big Ditch Brewing Company. “We chose to brew FC Buffalo’s Beer as an extremely light, yet very flavorful summer beer. The beer, which is a 3.5% American Wheat Ale, is light and crisp with a hoppy aroma and flavor of pineapple and citrus. We expect it will be ‘fantastically crushable’ for the upcoming season of FC Buffalo soccer.”
“Scott and I were down at Big Ditch HQ on Wednesday to sample the beer, and it’s wonderful,” Mendola said. “Our fans, and Buffalo at large, is going to enjoy the restaurant and brewery so much. Big Ditch is a real asset in our city’s rebirth.”
