Fort Pitt unloads on FCB again in romp

Fort Pitt Regiment got to Buffalo about 90 minutes before Sunday’s kickoff at Canisius College’s Demske Sports Complex, but the crowd is still waiting for FC Buffalo.

The Regiment scored four second-half goals to leapfrog FCB (3W-1D-4L) in the standings with a 4-0 win. The game comes on the business end of a 5-2 Fort Pitt win on Wednesday in Pennsylvania.

Lamine Balde, Andrew Luchini, Andrew Miller and Ryan Villela scored second half goals as the Regiment (3W-2D-3L) cruised to their third-straight win.

The Rich Products’ Man of the Match for FC Buffalo was defender Jake Rinow. FC Buffalo goes back to work with a Rust Belt Derby game in Cleveland on Friday kicking off a weekend of road games that takes them to Lansing on Sunday.

FC Buffalo’s next home game is at 2pm July 6 against the same Fort Pitt Regiment. They then close out the regular season home schedule with a July 9 5pm match against Detroit City and a July 13 night game against the Michigan Stars.
