St. Lawrence University defender Daniel Hunt, a member of FC Buffalo in 2014, is on trial with English League Two side Hartlepool United.

Hunt scored a goal and added an assist for the Wolves in 2014, and was a co-captain at college where St. Lawrence made another NCAA Tournament appearance.

He scored 15 goals and added 10 assists across his four years at St. Lawrence. The Saints web site says Hunt recently played a game with the Pools.

If signed, Hunt would join fellow FCB alums Sam DeMello (St. Lawrence / Delbrucker SC), Asani Samuels (Canisius College / Rochester Rhinos) and Waleed Cassis (University at Buffalo / Ottawa Fury) as active professional players.

Two former Blitzers are also playing indoor with the Syracuse Silver Knights (Austin Tom, Gary Boughton), while Dan Stevens is still active in Finland.
