FCB found itself down in a big hole thanks to a pair of early goals from River DogZ striker Matt Tucker, and could only manage a single answer in a 2-1 loss at Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium in Brockport, N.Y.

The loss snaps FCB’s unbeaten run at five games, and leaves the Blitzers three points back of the second Great Lakes East playoff spot. That’s held by Indy Eleven NPSL, one of FCB’s final two opponents.

Romario Guscott (LIU Brooklyn) and Toland teamed up to repeat their Friday feat, with the Jamaican-born forward carrying a Jack Donaldson (Hartwick) ball toward the end line before cutting back for Toland (St. Bonaventure) to smash home.

The game went to half with the Blitzers down 2-1, and a series of second half subs couldn’t propel FCB to an equalizer.

Next up for FCB is another road trip, this time to Erie for a Saturday Erie County Derby match against Erie Commodores.
