Last Chance To Dance

Every season comes down to one game and the 2012 FC Buffalo squad is hoping Friday’s regular season finale in Cleveland isn’t that one game.

The Blitzers need to beat AFC Cleveland, something the Royals have thusfar been able to avoid. Cleveland has three wins and two draws entering their home finale at 7p Friday. Buffalo has yet to win away from Robert E. Rich All-High Stadium in 2012, posting just one draw in their five matches.

If the Blitzers can pull all three points Friday — a draw will not suffice due to tiebreakers — FCB will turn their eyes to Binghamton on Sunday, where the Greater Binghamton Football Club hosts Erie in a match that may not mean anything to the Admirals. If Erie picks up a win while home to Cleveland on Saturday, they’ll have clinched first place heading into the Great Lakes Division Tournament next weekend.

Binghamton has lost to Erie by 4-0 and 4-1 scores this season.

Friday’s game was moved from Byers Field in Parma due to construction and will be played at 6380 Mill Road, Broadview Heights, OH 44147.
