FC Buffalo goalkeeper Steve Casey has been named to Top Drawer Soccer’s National Premier Soccer League Team of the Week for his role in a 4-point weekend.
Casey (Williamsville, N.Y. / Niagara University) made seven stops in a clean sheet draw with Cleveland SC on June 1 before making a number of stops in a 4-2 win in Rochester against the Lancers on Sunday.
The backstop becomes the second FCB player to be named to the NPSL Team of the Week this season, joining striker Akean Shackleford.
