Big weekend on road and at home

FCB will face AFC Cleveland for the first of two season match-ups, and this one is doubly-important. For one, the Royals are within striking distance of the Top Four, and your Blitzers would like to firm up its playoff aspirations.

Secondly, a two-goal win would give FCB its first Rust Belt Derby trophy. The Wolves have finished second the last two seasons, which saw Detroit City claim the trophy. Thanks to Detroit’s 3-2 home win over Cleveland and FCB’s 1-1 home draw with Detroit, we need a win and superior goal differential.

Overall, Cleveland’s record is 3-1-1, having beaten Indiana, Cincinnati and Erie while losing to Detroit and drawing Michigan Stars. In its three years of playing FCB before this season, the series is even at 3-3-2. Last season’s series was split 1-1-1.

Come Sunday, we’ll adjourn to Big Ditch Brewing Company for our first ever Blue Collar Gala, a private party for our fans. For a great deal, we’ll eat and, if you so choose, drink a wide variety of what Big Ditch has to offer the world.

We’ll also have raffle items, conversation and fun. Come on out!

Don’t miss out on the Blue Collar Gala at Big Ditch Brewing Company
